"Chris is able to establish rapport with youth who are among some of the most difficult to serve in the province. He uses this rapport to help the youth make positive changes in self-esteem, behaviour, and in life skills. He is able to stay proactive and yet firm in the face of difficult acting out and even attacking behaviour. Youth who have long been discharged from the program seek him out for support or advice. He does not give up on difficult to serve youth and seems to always find some strength and value in them."
Simon Beck, Supervising Director of the Intensive Child Care Resource Centre
